Book Sacrifice Tag

I was tagged by The Orangutan Librarian for this tagged, thank you so much! Check out their blog, it is quite amazing!

SO here it goes:

  1. An Over-Hyped Book:

Situation: You’re in a store when the zombie apocalypse hits. The military informs everyone that over-hyped books are the zombies only weakness. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you disliked do you start chucking at the zombies?

When this book came out, everyone was reading and raving about it and I even saw some people who don’t read, reading! I was very curious to read this book, and I finally did I wanted to rip my eyes out of my socket! So yeah I would chuck this book at the zombies cause when they pick it up and read (I am assuming they know how to read) the book they would leave this planet ASAP because humans are capable of writing such useless, pathetic (I could go on) books. I MEAN WHY??

  1. A Sequel:

Situation: torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an umbrella to protect yourself?

Some of you may not agree with me on this, but this book has taken quite its toll on me. It was just so slow and I have been trying to read it for months (yes) and I haven’t managed to do so yet. And since it is raining the big fat book can definitely protect me from the downpour and I would have an excuse to say why I didn’t finish the book!

  1. A Classic:

Situation: You’re in English class and your professor raves about a Classic that “transcends time”. If given the opportunity to travel back in time, which Classic would you try to stop from ever publishing?

I actually really liked Pride and Prejudice, therefore I gave Emma a chance. Oh how I wish I didn’t. Emma was simply mean and rude, I mean don’t get me wrong I love a feisty female protagonist but I just couldn’t stand her, never have I read such a judgmental character. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish this book.

  1. A Least Favorite Book:

Situation: apparently global warming = suddenly frozen wasteland. Your only hope of survival for warmth is to burn a book. Which book will you not regret lighting?

This definitely this one, in fact the whole series to be quite clear, this one can also be for the Sequel one. I don’t think any explanation is required. I will survive four days because of twilight, at least useful somehow no?

Well that was fun, now time for the nominations.. I am not sure who has done this tag but here I go:

Literature is my porn

My Mindful heart

Amidst the pages

The world according to an introvert

Cup of books

  1. Love this post!! So glad you did this!! Completely agree with you about Fifty Shades and Twilight. I haven’t read the Eragon series and one of the reason I haven’t is I heard it got bad- I couldn’t be bothered to read it cos I don’t like series that don’t have a satisfactory ending. Ah I love Emma- but your reasons for not liking it make total sense- I’ve heard people say similar things before and I get it.
